The eyewall Armor Flood Barrier System is a removable flood barrier that is used
only when floodwaters threaten. Once the floodwaters have receded, the Flood Barrier System packs neatly away for another crisis.
This Flood Barrier System will produce a watertight seal. This prevents saturation of parts and equipment and interruption of services. The ease of our system permits fast and simple assembly with a minimal crew and tools.
Our Flood Barrier System is very versatile and is able to protect vital services and equipment while preventing catastrophes from water damage including but not limited to: businesses, government centers, exterior utilities, electrical equipment, power generators, industrial complexes and much more.
Our Flood Barrier System has been created as a result of over ten years of extensive research and development. We have engineered and tested two different removable Flood Barrier Systems. One system is capable of reaching 4’ high and the other up to 7’ high.The Water Armor Flood Barrier System is designed in accordance with:
- The Florida Building Code, 2004 & 2007 Edition including the HVHZ - High Velocity Hurricane Zone Provisions.
- The American Society of Civil Engineers Standards ASCE 7-05 (minimum design loads for buildings and other structures).
- FEMA Technical Bulletin 3-93 (Non-Residential Flood Proofing Requirements and Certification).
The eyewall Armor Flood Barrier Systems are able to span four feet horizontally without any additional bracing. They can also be attached to one another to make a continuous flood barrier wall. This application will require bracing 4’ O.C.
The eyewall Armor Flood Barrier Systems are "site specifically" designed and manufactured in our facility in North Miami Beach, Florida. Once fabricated, we ship the approved panels and hardware to your location for installation anywhere in the world.
